Lychee has always been a great fruit to snack on. It’s packed with nutrients and is used for so many culinary items. This small fruit offers a rich source of Vitamin C, antioxidants, and fiber, making it a healthy choice. Whether eaten fresh, dried or in desserts, lychee never disappoints.

Growing up in Hawaii, a few of my family members tried to grow their own lychee trees with no knowledge of how long it would take to produce fruit. By the end of the second year after planting it, they easily gave up and forgot about it. They said, “This tree will never grow any fruit.” Years later, they moved, but their lychee trees ended up producing an abundance of fruit.

Lychee trees can take up to 4 or 5 years to start producing fruit, but it can take 10 years or more to produce large crops. It’s easy to give up on the things that take time and miss out on the blessing that comes with it if you have faith. Faith is choosing to have confidence or hope in the things unseen. It’s a great reminder to have patience and faith when allowed to see things grow in your life and wait patiently for things to unravel, even if you can’t see it happening where you are.

I’m sure there are things in your life that need just a hint of patience and faith.

Just because you don’t see them happening now doesn’t mean they never will.

So don't forget to have some patience with yourself and faith in the process of life.
